There will be no arrest, no murder trial, and no one held accountable for the murder of a Village of Albion man this past August inside a vacant village home.

The Orleans County Grand Jury has handed down a “No Bill” ruling, after reviewing the case of the murder of David Grove.

The 32-year-old Grove was apparently committing a burglary on August 6th at the fire-damaged 222 West State Street home. Grove was in the basement when someone shot him in the arm.

Grove suffered traumatic bleeding as he walked back to his home on 127 West State Street. He was later taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester via Mercy Flight. He was pronounced dead early the next morning.

A full investigation into the murder was completed early this month, but the Grand Jury decided not to indict anyone in the killing.

The case is now closed.

According to police, David Grove was a serial burglar in the Village of Albion for months before his murder.

David Grove is my Step-son. I dont like how everything that has to do with this case EVERYONE follows up at the end with David Grove was serial Burglar in the Village of Albion for months before his Murder.....I know that he was inthe wrong, so because EVERYONE has written this i assume that this is the reason that this person is getting away with it. Oh lets not indite cause this person did us all a favor....Well screw everyone who thinks this was cause it didnt do any favor to the family. He may of been in the wrong, BUT does it give anyone the right to kill?
