Genesee County’s two Catholic Elementary schools are planning a merger.
A letter sent home to parents of children at St. Joe’s in Batavia and Holy Family School in LeRoy says the schools will be reconfigured for the next school year. The letter, signed by the principals of both schools, was obtained by WBTA News partner, The Batavian.
The principals wrote that the favorite plan for reconfiguring the schools would have St. Joe’s house Pre-K through 8th grade along with an after school program, while Holy Family in LeRoy would have only Pre-K and an after school program.
The letter invited parents to weigh-in on plans for the reconfigured schools.
