A Rochester man charged with a State Street burglary has decided to play Russian roulette with a lifetime behind bars.
37-year-old Reginald Wilson turned down a plea deal this morning in Genesee County court.
The deal would have capped his sentence for the burglary to 2 to 4 years in state prison.
WBTA News Partner The Batavian reports that Wilson declined the plea deal even after Judge Robert Noonan reminded him that if he left the courtroom without taking a plea, he was going to trial.
If convicted at trial, Wilson faces a possible life sentence because of his previous felony convictions.
