A truck-car motor vehicle accident blocked most of Route 5 out in Stafford for a time this morning.
The truck, operated by McCormick Farms of Bliss, was hauling a load of plastic sheets on an attached trailer. The driver pulled out into the intersection, failing to yield right of way to the black sedan.
County Sheriff’s Deputy Daniel VanValkenburg says the accident did not cause any serious injuries. Occupants in the sedan were transported to UMMC with minor injuries.
The road has since been cleared.
