Three local men have been arrested for allegedly violating an order from a judge to stay away from another person.

30-year-old Trevor Rich of Randall Road allegedly sent threatening text messages to a woman he had been ordered to stay away from.
Rich was serving a weekend sentence in the county jail on an unrelated matter charge. As soon as he was released, he was arrested on these new charges and immediately put back behind bars.
39-year-old Andrew Crimes of East Main Street was charged after police say he repeatedly called and texted a former girlfriend in violation of a court order of protection.
25-year-old Cody Bush of Oak Orchard Road, Batavia, has also been charged with criminal contempt by allegedly going to Jackson School to see a child a judge had ordered him to stay away from.
Both Crimes and Bush were released on their own recognizance.

Rainy weather isn't stopping thousands of people from raising money for breast cancer awareness.  Despite rainy, cloudy weather the annual Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk drew ten-thousand participants in Buffalo yesterday.  The event was able to raise $600,000 for the American Cancer Society.   A similar event was held in Rochester.

The Bills won't have a perfect season.  In much the same fashion that the team won their opening three games, they lost in dramatic fashion to Cincinnati 23-20.  It was a last second field goal by the Bengals which gave the Bills their first taste of losing this season and they fell to 3-and-1.  The Bills had a 17-3 halftime lead but squandered it away in the second half.

The Buffalo Sabres are now in Germany preparing for tomorrow's exhibition game.  The team landed on Sunday and spent about 45 minutes on the ice before trying to adjust to the new time zone.  The Sabres plan to visit the U.S. military hospital in Ramstein today.  The team will play a pre-season warmup against the German professional team Adler Manheim tomorrow.  However, Jochen Hect, a native of the area, probably won't play against his former team.
