Batavia City Schools are learning a lesson from the Columbine tragedy.

Rachel’s Challenge, a program based around one of the victims of the infamous school shooting, is coming to Batavia, spreading a message of positive change in student-to-student relations.

Batavia High School Principal Chris Dailey says he’s seen the program before.

Rachel Scott was the first student killed by the Columbine shooters. The program in her memory was developed by her father and has reached millions of students, parents, and teachers.

Batavia will host the program on March 3rd at 6:30pm, at the high school. For more information, you can go to rachelschallenge.org
