Either beer or liquor, or something alcoholic was in the hands of too many youngsters at Darien Lake last night.
As the Goo Goo Dolls played a string of 1990's and early-2000's hits, 55 people under 21-years-old were arrested for underaged Possession of Alcohol With Intent to Consume.
Only one of the arrested was from Genesee County. Nearly every other young person charged was from Erie County. One of the arrested apparently hailed from WIlliston, Ohio.
In addition to the underage drinking, nine people were arrested for other various crimes. Two young men from Hamburg, 18-yearold Vincent Vertalino and 19-year-old James Galanti, were both
cuffed arrested for allegedly entering the theme park and urinating in public.
All nine are scheduled to appear in Darien Town Court on August 16th.
