A local criminal is headed for rehab, and some prison time, after pleading guilty in Genesee County Court. 21-year-old Craig Tiberio-Shepherd of LeRoy entered guilty pleas to Criminal Possession of a Controlled-Substance, Assault, and Felony DWI today.
The drug and assault charges stem from a late-April bust at Tiberio-Shepherd’s home, when officers saw him throw down a baggie of cocaine, and then he fought with officers, injuring two.
As part of his plea deal, Tiberio-Shepherd will attend Hope Haven rehabilitation center. He also faces up to four years in state prison. Sentencing will be July 29th.
