An abandon home on the Tonawanda Indian Reservation has gone up in flames.
The house at 456 Bloomingdale Road was destroyed.
A passerby noticed flames coming from the side of the structure just before 11 last night.
Authoritires said the house was unoccupied and appeared to be abandon.
Volunteer fire companies from Akron, Alabama, Batavia, Newstead Indian Falls and Pembroke responded to the scene. The Genesee County Emeregency Management Office, Mercy EMS and Genesee County Sheriff's Deputies were also dispatched.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
