A Batavia man will face prison time for biting a Batavia Police officer on the arm. 25-year-old Donald F. Stillwagon of Pearl Street was found guilty of 2nd-degree Felony Assault this afternoon at the end of a four-day jury trial.

Stillwagon was first arrested back in September when police tried to break up a fight at his home. Stillwagon retaliated by biting Sergeant John Peck on the arm.

Sergeant Peck was not seriously hurt in the incident. He was hospitalized with bleeding and released that same night.

Donald Stillwagon now faces 2 to 7 years in state prison. Sentencing will be in June.
