Following too closely and inattention resulting in an accident early this morning in Batavia. Seven people are injured as a result.
The bang-up happened on Route 5 in the Town of Batavia. 26-year-old Amanda Mull was driving a Chevy Suburban westbound when the car in front her apparently slowed to make a left-hand turn. That vehicle was driven by 18-year-old Erika Kreidler of Kentucky, and was carrying 6 people.
Amanda Mull says she did not see the car slow down or put on its blinker. She rammed it from behind, and her SUV flipped.
All seven people involved were transported to UMMC via ambulance.
Amanda Mull is charged with Following Too Closely and Unlicensed Operation.
