Pavilion Barn Fire believed to be sparked by a tractor.
The barn fire reported at a Black Street address in Pavilion drew four fire companies to the scene.
The barn was fully involved when the first responders arrived around a quarter to five Saturday afternoon.
There were fortunately no injuries reported but the barn was deemed a total loss.
Investigators had yet to officially determine the cause of the blaze however they were initially inspecting a tractor parked close to the barn as a possible source.

A look at the bad boys list in Batavia.
34 year old Joshua Bachorski of South Spruce Street in the city was arrested following a shoplifting complaint at Tops in Batavia.
He was accused of stealing over $370 worth of items.
Bachorski was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny and released with an appearance ticket for tomorrow in Batavia City Court.

Following investigation into a domestic incident at an Ellicott Street residence in Batavia, 37 year old Sath Dhanda of Clapsaddle Road in Bethany was taken into custody.
Dhanda was charged with Criminal Mischief and Criminal Contempt and remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail.
He is due back in City Court this afternoon.

A Batavia man and Teen caught possessing drugs.
66 year old James Porter of Clinton Street Road and 18 year old Cody Dioguardi of Shepard Road were allegedly found together in possession of pot at a Clinton Street address.
Both were charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and were released with appearance tickets for tomorrow in City Court.

Batavia’s boys in Blue continue sporting beards for another great cause.
The Batavia Police Department are extending their “Mo-vember” fundraiser into December.
For a fee, the officers are allowed to grow their facial hair for another whole month.
This month the fundraiser is renamed "Don’t Shave December".
Last month the hair raising event raised funds for Genesee Cancer Assistance.
Funds raised this month will support a county jail deputy who is battling a long term illness.

Governor Cuomo is blasting the Senate for passing the GOP tax plan. 
He said this does the exact opposite of helping middle and working class families. 
Cuomo said the federal government will use rich states like New York to piggybank poorer states in the Midwest and South. 
The governor called this hypocritical saying it's essentially wealth redistribution, going against what Republicans say they stand for. 

Winter Strom Watch expected to take effect this week.
The National Weather Service has already issued a Winter Storm Watch for Genesee County to go into effect late Tuesday night and lasting through late Thursday.
Heavy Lake effect snow fall is possible with accumulations predicted between one and two feet in the most persistent areas.
Officials are expecting travel to be impacted during the possible snow storms.
