Winter isn't done with us just yet. 
Spring is officially here, but you wouldn't know it from all the snow that hit us yesterday. 
An average 4 to 6 inches of snow came down on Genesee County yesterday. Private plows were out this morning moving the snow out of the way of store fronts.

Two Rochester men have been arrested on felony drug charges after agents found 3-thousand dollars worth of suspected cocaine in their car.
Sitting in the county jail this morning without bail are: 61-year-old Marcial Borgos and 52-year-old Jose Torres. Both are being held without bail.

A LeRoy man has been charged with the sexual abuse of a girl under the age of 11.
53-year-old David Beedham of Randall Road, LeRoy is facing a charge of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree.

A city man has turned himself in and faces charges that he grabbed a woman by the throat in front of three children.
Batavia Police say the incident happened Tuesday night on MacArthur Drive.
Yesterday, 28-year-old Eric Weis turned himself in. He was later released on his own recognizance.

Governor Andrew Cuomo says the legislature is to blame if there is a government shutdown.  Cuomo is warning a shutdown could occur if the legislature fails to pass his proposed budget that closes a 10-billion-dollar deficit without raising taxes. Legislative leaders say progress is going well and the budget may even be passed early.  Some lawmakers say they are surprised Cuomo is warning of a shutdown.

U.S. Senator Charles Schumer wants the Department of Homeland Security to test out new airport security technology at Buffalo Niagara International Airport. 
Schumer said his proposal would bring in machines that electronically scan passenger IDs to weed out fakes and alert authorities about passengers with outstanding warrants. 
Schumer's proposal comes after federal agents arrested a TSA Buffalo employee earlier this year on charges that she helped suspected drug dealers get past security checkpoints.
