A one-car fatal accident remains under investigation today in Orleans County.
Deputies say one man was killed early Saturday morning when his car ran off Fancher Road in Murray, went into a ditch and struck a culvert.
The driver was taken to Strong West Hospital in Brockport where he was pronounced dead two hours after the accident.
The victim’s name has not been released.

Notorious child molester Sean Vickers avoids a re-trial and accepts a plea deal.
Vickers was sentenced in 2014 to 107 years in prison on five sex abuse convictions.
Earlier this year an appeals court overturned four of those convictions and prosecutors were gearing up to retry the case.
But in court on Friday, Vickers accepted a plea deal for a sentence capped at 40 years, the same deal he was offered and rejected three years ago.

U.S. Senator Charles Schumer is warning of NRA-backed legislation currently before Congress that he says will gut New York's gun laws. Speaking in Manhattan Sunday night, Schumer said the legislation would force communities across the nation to permit individuals from other states to carry hidden and loaded handguns in public, a move that he says could result in New York being swamped with armed individuals from out of state carrying hidden and loaded firearms.
