A winter weather advisory has been issued for Genesee and surrounding Western New York counties until noon. Light freezing rain, sleet and ice with strong winds are expected. A flood watch will also be active for western New York until 7 p.m. Sunday.
An Oakfield man is behind bars this morning charged with forgery.
41-year-old Arturo Vasquez-Armas was busted for allegedly using a forged Social Security card to try and get a non-driver ID at the Genesee County DMV office.
He was ordered to be jailed without bail.
This is the 20th anniversary of the most memorable ice storm in decades. The storm, actually started as freezing rain on March 3, 1991, and was the costliest such storm in state history.
Damage, overtime and cleanup costs exceeded 500-million dollars. Federal disaster areas were declared in 12 area counties including Genesee.

There's one less Democrat vying for the 26th congressional district seat. Erie County Comptroller Mark Poloncarz took his name out of the pool of potential candidates yesterday. Poloncarz says he can best represent men and women of Erie County by remaining where he is. Governor Cuomo has yet to call a special election to fill former Representative Lee's seat.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says he will be too busy to meet Archbishop Timothy Dolan and other church leaders when they visit Albany next week. Cuomo's snub comes two weeks after a Vatican advisor said the new governor should be denied communion because he lives with his girlfriend, Food Network personality Sandra Lee. A spokesperson for the Catholic Conference tells the "Daily News," quote, "I'm sure the governor is very busy, so we will take him at his word."
