32 year old Kevin Johnson of Gainesville was arrested yesterday morning by State Police for driving drunk, driving without a license and for circumventing an interlock device after he was stopped for alleged speeding in Attica.

Later that evening troopers responded to report of a vehicle in a ditch in Gainesville and arrested 29 year old Michael Slocum of Silver Springs.

Slocum faced similar charges of driving drunk, driving without a license and circumventing an interlock device along with drinking alcohol on a highway and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Both men face felony DWI charges for having prior DWI convictions.

Johnson was released with an appearance ticket and Slocum was jailed in lieu of $1,000 bail.
