    <description>Those hired can not be let go at the end of the grant funding.  Their continued employment becomes the burden of the local community.  This is typical of Federal Grants and should be considered before getting involved.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The concept is good, but due to the fact that a number of the communities involved let the new employees go at the end of the grant made the government change the rules.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;FYI&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Barry W.
